In February, I volunteered for the SBS Open at Turtle Bay Resort again. I love being able to volunteer for the ladies tournaments. As the LPGA says, "These Girls Rock". This first picture is Reilley Rankin, LPGA Pro. She is great. Gave me a signed ball and personalized it to me and all.

Here is me and Angela Stanford, LPGA Pro, and winner of the 2009 SBS Open. She is a wonderful person. I got to meet her 2 years ago when I played in the Pro Am at the Fields Open here on the island also. I was SO excited that she won, and this picture is pretty special to me. Not everyone gets their picture taken with the winner of a tournament holding the winners cup. Go ME!

Ah.......Kaneohe rainbows. I stood across the street from our complex to capture these photos. It was such a beautiful sight to see. So vibrant. Rainbows are not very common here right next to the mountains so this was a special moment.
James participated in a Sprint Triathalon in February on Hickam Air Force Base held by the Coast Guard. I'm so proud of him that he took this on and he did a wonderful job. He has been working really hard to make him a "better him". You're perfect in my eyes honey.
He finished in under 1:30:00. Woo Hoo!
A friend I use to work with at Underwriters Laboratories came to visit in January for 10 days. She needed a vacation after helping her daughter with her wedding plans and the wedding. She got here and just wanted to veg. She was the easiest visitor ever. This picture was taken at China Walls as we were sitting there watching the sunset.
We did the Maka'pu'u Lighthouse hike for sunrise. We started nice and early with our flashlights so we could be up at the top by the time any color started to appear in the sky. Virginia loved it. Here we are at the top.
A picture of the Diamond Head Lighthouse. We hung out at the lookout a lot to do some whale watching.
Virginia's last night and we took her for dinner at The Top of Waikiki. It's a revolving restaurant and takes about 45 minutes to do one revolution. Husband and I really enjoy this place.
This guy was basking on the beach up on the north shore. This is the first time that I have seen a monk seal on this island so I was pretty stoked. He looks so peaceful enjoying the sun beating down on him. I think this is a perfect picture.......therefore, I had it put on a purse for myself at www.snaptotes.com. Check out the site or check them out on Facebook. I have 3 purses from them, and I ordered 2 for my friends last year for Mother's Day. (one of those clutch purses is the handbag of the week on their Facebook site this week!)
